Wow, I was just reading through some of my latest posts about Lance starting nursery. I can remember I just wrote them for myself so I could reflect over how he was doing and just share my thoughts. At that point me and my husband was living in different countries and Skye was still a baby. Oh how times have changed.
Skye is almost a year and a half old and I am in the middle of schooling her in to nursery. She is doing great and we are starting the leaving process tomorrow. At first we will just say bye and I will be away for 30 minutes and then Thursday we will do a bit longer.
Lance is 3,5 now and so independent. He has definitely found his will and inner voice and loves to express it. 🙈
It's great to see him at nursery now, playing along with his friends, being boisterous and confident.
We are also about to move out of the wooden cabin and into another rental property in a couple of weeks. Another big change, but I'm hoping it goes smoothly so it's not too traumatic for the kids.
My husband moved over in June when he managed to get himself a job with a local company, a 7-4 gig, which is not something we have ever been used to. We have managed to settle into our new normal with some teething issues I have to admit.
In December it all got flipped again as I got a part-time job and Davy decided to change jobs. At the same time we were out looking for a new place to stay as we found out they were going to put the cabin on the market.
So that's a short recap of the past year and current situation. 🤗
